I love this soup….

OBX April 28, 2026

This soup is yummy. I have eaten it for lunch or dinner. The can size is a great serving size for one person. I am single so I don't cook as much as before. If I am on the go and want something fast, I just eat this soup. Add a few crackers to dip or crush in it and you are good.

Honestly I bought a different label of tomato soup for my husband. They messaged me that they were out of it and would be substituting it for their brand. My husband said just fix it and WOW WAS HE SURPRISED . After eating their tomato soup , he told me just to buy him this one from now on. He said it has taste to it and the other one didn't. Now I order Walmart brand because that's what he wants. This substitution is one that paid off . It's his favorite!!!

Bacon flavored Bean Soup

Regularcustomer January 31, 2026

My fav soup containing a wonderful bacon flavor with bacon pieces. It is condensed which means you add a canfull of water. It is so full of flavor, I add a drained %26 rinsed can of beans. Black beans or garbanzos are good. Also, finely chopped cooking greens like spinach or kale are great to stir in while simmering the soup on low heat. For a special change, add a dollop of sour cream on top when serving!

Made a quick meal

Penny February 2, 2026

I used this for a base to make a quick homemade tasting soup. I cut up carrots and onions and fried them in a little olive oil to soften them. I then added a small can of great northern beans and the can of bean soup with a full can of water. This was the best soup for a quick meal. It tasted homemade and my husband thought I cooked all day! Winner recipe for sure

So good in this cold.

Sharon December 4, 2025

I liked it. Of course, it was not homemade, but few people know how to make Beef and Barley soup, right. I have not made it in quite a long time myself. It was so good in this cold weather, and I was glad I had purchased more than one. Soup and saltines really hit the spot!

OK flavor but watery and has an oil film

Anonymous July 12, 2026

While the flavor is similar in flavor to Campbell's condensed Bean with Bacon soup, this generic one is much more watery and has an oil layer on top. I would not add a full can of water to this one but only 3/4ths a can at first. The prices is good. I know that Campbell's probably makes this one, but the generic must differ in some way in order to be a generic. I might buy again in a financial pinch, but I prefer the real thing.

Soup is okay; WalMart has become terrible

Cat March 26, 2026

I'm sure the soup is okay, although it tastes too fake and salty and must really be watered down. It's generic; it's what you get when you buy condensed soup... The problem is WALMART!!! It is impossible to do business with this company. I place orders on-line and WalMart CANCELS it within 10 seconds and then HOLDS MY MONEY for 3-4 days. This, after I had signed up for "free" delivery -- which I can never get, because every second or third grocery order I place is CANCELLED. Additionally, orders that are shipped are delivered to the wrong address; or, tossed out on the sidewalk in the downtown area where I live; or, just not delivered at all. I can no longer drive, so all of this is more than just an "inconvenience". So, good luck calling WalMart customer service to resolve any issues !! You will be trapped in an AI purgatory FOREVER. I have finally given up on WalMart. I will pay more and get it from Amazon, or take a risk and buy it from E-Bay. Because I am SICK of this company.

I believe they should call this bean soup although the broth tasted OK I mean I don't know how they can sell this as ham and bean soup. You are throwing two dollars away to buy this. You think you're saving money but you're not saving money buying Walmart products I don't get this company. There is not one Walmart product that should be sold. It's criminal what they do with these products and they say oh, but we're a dollar cheaper on a camp. It's not ham and bean soup you're lying to the people.

This Chicken noodle soup tasted salty, but the real kicker was finding pieces of the chicken skin it the soup. Clumped coming out of the can, my thinking adding the water would help. It did until I seen the piece of skin in the soup. I won't buy this again. I went cheaper on the soup but now I'm back to buying Campbell's only.

No noodles!

anonymous May 25, 2026

I have bought this soup before and it was fine. This time I opened a can and there were about 2TBS of noodles in the can. I really thought it was a fluke, so I opened the second can I bought...not a single noodle in the whole can. I looked to make sure I didn't accidentally buy broth. I don't know if this was a bad batch or they are trying to save money, but I think I'll pass next time!
