I always keep these in stock they're exactly the same as the name brand just at a better price I use it in my meatloaf I use it to top my casseroles I use it when I'm frying meat it's just overall a good quality product with a discounted price than the overpriced name brands
I gave this five stars in all categories. I've been using Italian flavored breadcrumbs for over 50 years and I've noticed the name brands have decreased in quality and flavor not having the same ingredients that they did before so I figured I'd try Walmart brand and let me tell you it exceeds my expectations. They are flavorful, consistent, and highly recommend these breadcrumbs. The others are a waste of money.
Really great flavor with the perfect seasonings! Used this brand for a long time and prefer it to name brands. It gives awesome flavor to all my recipes (meatballs, meatloaf and for breading meats or veggies before cooking .. Etc...) .. Love the GV brand products! Alway good consistant quality and big savings!
These are light and crisp. I used these breadcrumbs on homemade chicken tenders and they were so super flavorful because they have the right amount of herbs. These came out restaurant crisp baked at 425 degrees. These will be great on top of baked macaroni and cheese as well. I'm using the rest of the canister for that this weekend.
I use these Italian style bread crumbs all the time, and they've quietly become part of the plot of most of my dinners. They're not flashy, but they add just enough flavor and texture to give whatever I'm cooking a little character. Chicken, meatballs, casseroles — they show up, do their job, and don't try to steal the scene. Reliable, easy to use, and honestly one of those pantry things I notice immediately when I'm out of it.
Great value Italian style breadcrumbs, is a must in every kitchen. Even with not Italian food, this item gives best crunch and texture to any type of food. I use it often and my guests always remember the taste and texture of food. The best and most delicious ingredient to any type of food. Thank you Walmart for providing the item specifically during holiday time.
Sometimes I'm just too lazy to make my own bread crumbs. The flavor is mild, usually it's fresh and does not have a stale flavor. The texture is not always consistent. Sometimes it's crumbs and sometimes it's almost like flour. Otherwise, these work fine and are cheap, so no biggie.
I use these in various casseroles creations. I also add them to the mix when making burgers, meatloaf and meatballs. They add a really nice flavor.and are less expensive than the name brand bread crumbs. Definitely worth buying.
I picked these up to save a little money compared to the name-brand Italian bread crumbs I usually buy. While the value is definitely there, you get a lot for the price, the flavor profile just isn't strong enough. The "Italian Style" seasoning tasted very faint, so I ended up having to add a lot of my own oregano and garlic powder anyway. They work in a pinch if you are breading chicken and adding your own spices, but for meatballs or loafs where you rely on the breadcrumbs for flavor, these fell a bit flat.
Allergy information is incorrect. On the website, it doesn't mention eggs as ingredients, but the actual container lists eggs as one of the ingredients. Thank God, we checked the container after delivery; otherwise, it would've been a disaster. This is extremely careless on Walmart's part. Allergies aren't something to be taken lightly.
