Great Value Peanut Oil, Heart Healthy and Versatile, 1 Gallon Bottle

We use this oil in our fryer and never have any issues. I think it burns better than name brands. We used it for Thanksgiving to deep fry our turkey breasts and my sister used our fryer to do the same for Christmas and now she is buying a fryer and said she will only use WalMart Good Value Peanut Oil. It’s high quality for a great price point.

I buy this to fry my son's chicken in. He loves chicken fried in peanut oil ever since he found out Chick-fil-A fries their chicken in peanut oil. This big jug lasts a long time too! I have even used it in other ways too, including popping popcorn and even in baked goods like banana bread and pie crust. It does not make it taste strong like you would think peanut oil might. There is not really much taste to it at all.

I love Great Value Peanut Oil. I absolutely do believe that is a superior to the brand name products and at a much better price. The only thing I was tentative on is their previous bottles, the one that's in the picture. I felt that they were a little bit too thin and always feared that it would spring a leak. With my most recent delivery I was very pleasantly surprised to see that it comes in a heavy-duty 1 gallon container with a handle on it instead of the thin plastic bottles that had the flimsy, IMO, handle up at the top. The oil does a perfect job of making things very crisp without residue or taste. I have started to use it in place of other oils for all purposes including salad dressings. You absolutely can't beat it for deep frying. The oil, when properly strained, can be reused once or twice. I've only reused it once but peanut oil is usually safe to use twice unless you've cooked fish in it, then it's once.

i was recommended by friend who went through the severe health condition and by consuming the peanut oil made health condition better. been using this peanut oil for 3 years on frying/cooking use. supposedly this peanut oil is lot safer in high heat compared to other types of oil.

Let me tell you about this peanut oil. I fill up a pot on the stove with this and it gets H O T! I then got this bright idea of throwing some raw potato sticks in there and it makes them hard and crunchy! Best discovery for food ever! If you like making foods hard and crunchy this is perfect for that. Just don’t stick your hands in it while bubbling, because that will become hard and crunchy too, even if it does become delicious. 8/8 gr8 b8 m8.

This is to me the gold standard of cooking oil. It is a healthier oil for one that has a high smoke point. It is sufficient for deep frying but can also be used as a base for a dressing. It has a clean flavor and cycles several times before getting too dark. It also has a fantastic unit price.

I had a deep fryer but hardly used it. The problem was the oil. I did some research and found peanut oil to the best high temperature cooking oil available. Great tasting oil for fries ,chicken, and fish. It's so good I find an excuse to use it daily.

Cheapest good quality peanut oil on the market. Best tasting oil is peanut, in my opinion. Lasts just me about 8 months, never once went rancid on me. Handle has not once broken, nor the bottle.

The great value peanut oil 1 gallon bottle is what I usually buy at Walmart. Peanut oil is the only oil that I trust to fry in because seed oils cause inflammation. It leaves my food tasting delicious. I enjoy cooking with it and it’s cost effective. Thank you Walmart!

The peanut oil arrived in a slightly wet box , upon opening the box I found the oil with a collapsed top and colored as pictured. I think the bottle could have been better secured even though it the bubbles cushion. Not a good experience with ordering a bottle that collapses.
