This does help me sleep, even at 1mg. Personally, if I take even 5mg, I start having crazy dreams and waking up with a headaches. Not with the 1mg, though.

I'm an adult, but, 5 mg melatonin leaves me groggy the next day. 1 mg works for me, but I could only get the 1mg in gummy form. These tablets work much better.

I buy Spring Valley Supplements and they are all good quality. Many doctors recommend only 1mg of melatonin, rather than more. If you fee tired the next day, too much melatonin at higher doses could be the cause. This helps me to sleep great through the night.

So thankful to find 1 mg in this product. I can't take anything stronger, so this works great for me.

Obviously you never know what's in supplements. Pros: Comes in 1mg dose, so you can have a small dose if desired. Other melatonins come in like 3 or 5 mg doses, which can be too much. No artificial flavors or sugar. Easily cut in half if desired. Cons: I wish it was 3rd party tested (maybe it is but i didn't see anything on the label about it). I also wish it didn't have calcium in it (but it's only 5%)

I'd read that you should use the lowest dosage possible for sleep. I hadn't been able to find under 5mg until I saw these. These help me fall asleep better than the 5mg's did.

I use to take 3mg but always felt dopey the next day . So I switch to 1mg and this does not keep me asleep. plus I have huge problems. with a wondering mind at nite . So am looking for another one to try .

the bottle was half filled
