Bertolli Vodka Sauce, Italian Tomato Sauce with Cream, 24oz

I don't understand why a Vodka sauce couldn't be substituted as I ordered 2 large jars. I'm trying a new recipe that calls for vodka sauce only. There are at least 5 or more other brands of vodka sauce why not substitute with one of them. Definitely not Bertollis tomato sauce with spicy sausage and cheese. So now I have to take time go out and get 1 more jar of Vodka Sauce. Why does Walmart have this delivery service if the ordered products can't make it to the house?Very Frustrating!

As one who has always made her own sauce from scratch, getting older has slowed me down a little bit, so I now rely more and more on jarred sauce. This brand of sauce does it for me as it does not have an acidic taste, and it's the right color (if you know you know). You can jazz it up if you like, which I have been known to do, but sometimes I just warm it up and put it on my fresh pasta. it works for me.

This vodka sauce is great heated right out of the jar or dressed up with meat and stewed tomatoes and additional cream. I often just use jarred sauces as a base for my own, but this sauce can easily stand alone. It is great for a quick weeknight meal that tastes like you cooked for hours. It is tangy and creamy and just so good.

This is our go to sauce for pasta. It has a really nice flavor and complements so many dishes nicely. If you live vodka sauce this is the way to go. Not to mention it is actually affordable!! I love this on all kinds of pasta but the household favorites are in angel hair and baked mini penne. Pair it with some garlic bread for dipping and wow!

My favorite and only brand I buy in Vodka sauce. I have tried many but this one is my favorite. It is also a 24oz jar good and plenty enough to use it twice. I get to feed 3 people with a half of the jar. I refrigerate the rest and use the other half by the end of the week again.

I love this sauce! Bertolli's Vodka Sauce is incredibly creamy with a smooth, rich flavor that tastes restaurant‑quality. I was reallg very disappointed in this item. I expected something mord from them because they're Bertolli. Maybe they need to just stick with making pasta ONLY...Because their pasta is grrat buf thjs sauce kills any pasta you use it on. I'll put it to you this way...MY worst homemade saucd is still better than this slop and btw I've been cooking for almost years. I'm not hust disappointed with these people trying to sell this, I am disgusted AND embarrassed for them. They should be embarrassed by this too. YUCK!

We're not all feeding a 4 person family. I only make food for myself and this jar is easily enough for 5-6 servings. I like making 2 servings at once. One for immediate consumption and one for leftovers. Anything else would go to waste. Make smaller jars! 8 or 12oz would be perfect. I always end up throwing away half a jar.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that's feeding their kids or is on a breathlesser, because, after eating this, you know that you have not drank, you will blow over zeros and fail. Same thing with banana abstract. It's got alcohol, ten percent, alcohol and you'll blow over zeros

This sauce needed a lot of sprucing up. I ended up adding garlic, garlic powder, pepper, salt, parmesan, a pinch of sugar and heavy cream because of its strange taste. Definitely not the best vodka sauce on the market. I can't put my finger on what was wrong with it, it was almost too... sour? I would only buy if you are confident you can fix it up, and if it is on sale. Wouldn't recommend.
