This is the best chocolate by far. Perfect for baking and even snacking. Cant go wrong with this product.

Hands down the very best cooking chocolate for my budget. It is smooth and rich. It has changed my taste to less sugary and more robust chocolate, without being bitter.

This chocolate is top-rated on the America's Test Kitchen/Cooks Illustrated site as a baking chocolate. It is also very good as an eating chocolate and much cheaper than buying it packaged for eating.

I have cooked with all the bars available here, and Ghirardelli's always performs perfectly for adult cookies, cakes, pies, and treats. Its has the depth of flavor and aroma and that excellent level of sweetness one cannot get with the others.

I was making Namalaka which called for a 60%, and to stay true to the recipe I bought this. It was totally above my expectations a little expensive but for this application at least it was perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ghirardelli premium bittersweet chocolate baking bar is the best chocolate bar to bake with, the flavor and smooth texture is great to bake cakes and brownies with. My family loves it when i bake i will definitely keep using this chocolate.

This chocolate is wonderful for nibbling. A fave use is to put about a scant square inch piece on top of the cream cheese filling in a good cream cheese danish. Then I nuke about 18 seconds. Luscious and to die for delicious! I used this chocolate to make Fantasy Fudge for the winter holidays (recipe for that is on the marshmallow cream jar or look online). It's my fave fudge and a family tradition. The only drawback is it's a bit pricey. I had to buy 6 bars/24 oz to make my fudge but I think the price shot up after that.
