I have taken quercetin on and off over the years, and when money is tight, I decide it's not as important as some of the other supplements and leave it off the list. Then I'll see something in the press about it and decide I can afford it again, and within two weeks, I'm wishing I'd never quit taking it.
I can't put my finger on exactly what is different, but I like the way I feel more when I'm taking quercetin than I do when I haven't taken it for a year or more. My blood lipid and glucose values would put cardiologists out of business if everyone had similar numbers, so I can't say I see a difference there. I suspect the improved outlook on life is a consequence of quercetin's effect on inflammation. Giving up most dairy helped, as did not eating as much meat, but I'm older and larger and creaky, so there's still a fair amount running around the old bones. Quercetin probably helps.
The review's true. I wrote it because I get an entry in LEF's #sweepstakes for my troubles, but that doesn't change the facts.
