This does the same thing as a Keurig Coffee Maker for a fraction of the price. I stock up on different brands of coffee pods and use ground coffee in the little reusable/refillable coffee pods it comes with. Be careful though as I've had guests just throw away the refillable pod, not knowing it was easy to wash and refill. I've purchased 4 of these little coffee makers - 2 for myself and 2 for my daughter. they are easy to take along on vacations. She uses hers in her RV as it's lightweight and easily stored in a cabinet when driving. You can also buy Velcro strips to hold it secure when driving. My grandkids love to make Hot Chocolate and Hot Apple Cider in them. You can also make Ramen cups and dehydrated soups in a large mug with just the steaming hot water coming through. (Be sure to wash out any traces of coffee before.) 😁 This is a very simple, lightweight, and versatile item to take to hotels, in cruises, and camping trips! Enjoy! Don't forget the coffee creamer and whipped cream. ☕

I love this little coffee maker it makes coffee so fast it's almost instantly hot. plus the facts you can use regular coffee or coffee pods which is a great convenience. Plus I have to travel for work a lot and it's so compact if it's right in my suitcase.. whereas a lot of the hotels no longer have coffee makers and if they do they are not the cleanest. I would totally recommend this for home use travel or for a gift they would love it

I don't drink a lot of hot coffee but this is my 2nd one of these in the past 2 years because they are also great for hot chocolate, teas, even just heating up water. I love that it comes with a closed strainer for my loose leaf teas but I can also use K-cups with it also. I honestly think it's better than the Keurig single cup coffee maker. And just for a fraction of the cost also. I love this machine. It is great for your own home and quality gifts for others as well.

I honestly only got this out of curiosity from the reviews. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews, they are hilarious. The reviews don’t lie, it’s actually a really good machine, easy to use, and very inexpensive. Don’t spend more money on name brand coffee makers when this one does the same for less.

Went to make my second cup of coffee in my Keurig pod maker and it would not work. I have had several Keurigs of various styles a d sizes and styles. I got this because it is simple and cheap. Also my keurig pod makers make you buy their descaler and i prefer just using vinegar. This one does not have a notification on it which makes me happy. It was delivered last noght and I immediately used it. I like it, i also like just putting in the amount of water I need for the cup size I am using.

If you like the taste of plastic then this is the coffee maker for you! I ran vinegar, descaler, and baking soda water and could not get the taste out. And it wasn't just a faint hint of plastic taste, it tasted like I was drinking burning plastic. Absolutely disgusting!

This pot is a complete waste of money. I got it today and it doesn’t work. It gets hot and start dripping then shuts off . It’s only give a few drops . Not I could do to make it work not kcup or Ground coffee . I wouldn’t recommend this product to nobody.

I have absolutely loved the model that came before this new updated Mainstays coffeemaker. I have been telling everyone how great the original model is for the past 5 or more years so when I saw this new updated model for sale I had to buy it. I expected the same machine but just an updated matte finish. Boy was I ever wrong. The issue is it makes a cup of tasteless cool temperature coffee. I like my coffee hot. The problem is from the moment you press the button to start brewing with a pod, it is only 1 min and 52 seconds until the entire coffee is in your cup. It has no time to soak into the actual coffee in the pod. It just shoots the water through so fast and it doesn't have time to boil the water. At first I thought ok well i'll just reheat it in the microwave. The problem is it was never hot to begin with. It shoots cool water through it at warp speed. I went to Ebay and bought a couple of the old model.

item did not work, showing same issues as reported by other 1 star reviews, machine will just release steam and not actual water. Delivery of defective items is the worst experience you can have at walmart because your money will be stuck in pending transaction limbo for 7 whole days on top of the annoying return process.

When it was working, it was okay if inconsistent, but it lasted less than 3 weeks before it began leaking a lot of water out of the bottom when brewing. Even within a week of getting it, it would spill some water out the top when brewing and would sometimes dispense very weak coffee or just straight up water even after a rinsing cycle with water. Pretty frustrating...
