great clip does exactly what it is supposed to do and doesnt interfere with charging thr battery pack or the controller or phone pretty awesome cant beat the price believe me i looked everywhere i chose this over controllers built for my phone you cannot beat the controller phone combo and adjustability
Decent for what it is, especially considering the price point. Its made of lightweight plastics that feel airy, almost flimsy, but hasn't yet broken. Base section snapped onto the back of my Xbox controller after I removed the snap-on piece holding in the battery pack, fits snuggly and snaps fully into place with a very satisfying tactile *click* (apologies, idk which xbox controller but its the standard bright lime-green one (that no less than 3 of my other rando online friends happen to use to play on their PCs) if that helps). The phone holder section slides out to accommodate the width of my phone. [Google Pixel 7 with Otterbox case] Its consists 3 sections held together by 2 plastic turn-to-tighten connectors, so getting the ideal positioning involves some mild tedium. Assembly and adjusting requires no tools. 5/5 Stars
Have been using this with my phone and xbox controller to play Rocket League: Sideswipe and it works like a charm. The clip fits perfectly into the controller and guides it in there so it isn't difficult to install. Overall would recommend for a gaming solution for you phone!
[Employee of walmartcanada] It fits phone and controller well. The controller clips on securely and has an opening for the charging port and sync button. It also has some points to adjust how my phone hangs onto it which is good for keeping it balanced well
The clip performs as expected. It has a nice range of adjustments. Great for the price. The only problem I have, is a problem that you'd probably have with any clip, which is the weight of your phone counterbalancing the weight of the controller. But I don't know of any clips that solve that issue.
Solid product, it does what it's supposed to do. Plastic is a little flimsy so I wouldn't be surprised if it breaks after a while, but it's still worth it for the price.
Quite the product. Got one for my phone 5 years ago, and just recently got a second to play Baldur's Gate 3 with my lady. Excellent quality, great battery life, and solid build.
If wanting to use for CODM - it doesnt work - its been sitting on my desk for 2 years. I was hoping to find a firmware update but no such luck yet. Crazy part is it syncs fine to phone - I've had 2 different Samsung Galaxy S devices (current S23) - it syncs and can use but NOT for CODM --- I can sync a regular xbox controller and then use this IF/WHILE the xbox controller is connected. Which to me seems to be something "code" related aka firmware or maybe CODM... But either way as big as PowerA is either a firmware up / better or registered BT device or controller / or device cohesion... I have had other controllers for the XBOXs - with no issues. Would love to be "more" mobile with this controller... Curious if this has worked on any other devices android/ios??
The charge port is old MICRO-USB. It's difficult to figure out pairing by using the poorly written instructions. The onboard charge sharing consumes the battery too quickly to be useful. Otherwise, it FEELS GREAT in the hand and all joysticks, buttons, and triggers work well and have good action. I feel the price would be more fair around 40 or 50 dollars.
Overall the feel and style of the controller grip is similar to that of the Xbox controllers, just slightly larger, until you put your phone in the middle. For the most part the controller buttons are solid, the triggers are another story. L1 and R1 seem to be the same as the rest of the controller buttons, no limited push on them. The L2 and R2 are my least favorite part of the controller they are very mushy and spongy. It's like playing with a rubber band. My favorite parts of this controller is a toss up between the integrated wireless charging built in and being able to charge my phone while playing and the simple fact that it has a battery indicator, something I wish my actual Xbox and PlayStation controller had. Syncing the Bluetooth is very straight forward, although I did have to try multiple times with my phone before successfully connecting to it. I was also able to pair it to my computer with Bluetooth very easily, however it doesn't seem to work in any came on windows 11. I tried both wired and bluetooth with no luck. Works fine with a pixel 3. I decided to try it with my iPhone to be funny, same results as the computer (it does not advertise iOS compatibility anyway) it connected but no functionality. Even with the features that I like on this controller with the inability to use it as advertised with a computer it limits the functionality for me. To have to carry another controller for both my computer and my iOS gaming this is but little of a novelty for me. If you game more on your android phone this maybe for you if you find compatible games
