It does what it is supposed to do. It's nice that it comes with the batteries you need to get started. I have it side by side with another one (different brand) and there is about a 2 degree difference between the two. So, who knows which is more accurate???
The ThermoPro works as advertised. It provides me with temperatures indoor and outdoor on a single display. Both the indoor display unit and the remote unit are small, light, and portable and can be easily moved to measure temperatures in different places. I have been tracking "cold spots" in my house that get colder than the thermostat setting to better understand the temperature gradients within the house. My only frustration is that it takes the unit several minutes to adapt to significant temperature changes. The unit itself has to get colder or warmer because it measures it's own temperature. Mercury thermometers respond more rapidly. But in fixed positions, once it adapts it quickly to the small changes in changes in temperature. I have no regrets about my purchase. I also found their tech support excellent. I encountered a problem shortly after receiving the unit and they walked me through "rebooting" the unit to resolve the issue. They were quick, friendly, and responsive.
After following the training instructions, the ThermoPro worked correctly on the first try. The quick and simple start-up guide was easy to read, and provided ample instructions. No adjustments to the channels were needed, the base and remote units connected automatically with batteries installed and internal controls untouched. A great piece of electronic gear for a reasonable price. Would recommend and buy again if necessary.
Works well. I use it to make sure the heater in my nonattached garage is working. Now I don't have to go outside in freezing temps to check the garage temperature.
Team A Simple wireless device that “saves” a huge amount of time - body - soul to administrate a lone socket, extension cord, and multiple devices. ‘Nuff said!!! Ginormous thanks on this one Old guy in the desert
I'm surprised by how accurate it is. Good price for a digital thermometer. Over this past winter when there were quite a few negative readings it was spot on.
This was easy to set up and easy to understand. The readout could be a little bit darker, but it's adequate. Read out should be darker nominating overwhelming this week million dollar.
i thought i was getting one with large numbers so i could read it across the room, instead the thing is so small that the sensor is bigger than the readout. i have to sit on table next to my recliner under a light to read it. then i have to pick it up
Not sure what kind of southern thermometer this thing is but I didn't realize that the indoor and outdoor units were only good to -4F I live in the north and for about a week straight it was -5 to -10 and the display was stuck at -4. I mean if you're in the south where anything below 40F is freezing then it will be fine but in the north it is not very useful for the extreme cold which is when you really want a thermometer to look at and go holy cow it's -15 out! Furthermore why in the world does it have a max reading of 158F?!?! It would be way more useful to go to -40F/C which happens somewhat regularly vs 158F where we'd all be dead... Also it has been less than a week and either the batteries or the outdoor unit itself died not sure if the -10 had anything to do with it but overall I'm not a fan of this thermometer.
Too small can't read it from across the room. We have another one it does also the time and this one doesn't and you could see it from across the room I'd send it back, but it's more of a problem to send it back.
