Spectacular yeast
This yeast is spectacular! I make a lot of dough that I use for calzones, focaccia, pizza, cinnamon rolls, sandwich bread, and have always used the brown jar. I use a LOT of yeast, so I decided to get this bc it cost less for 8 oz than the other brand. I put it in the bowl with a bit of sugar and when I put the water it it practically exploded into a bloom at contact! After 45 minutes of letting the dough rise, it was twice as big as my bowl! I split it to store it, and set the extra in the fridge where it has continued to push the lid off the container! It's amazing, IVE never had this happen before. 100% recommend, and will only buy this from now on. I only wish it came in a glass container!

Bob's Red Mill East
The quality of this product is great. I highly recommend this company. I did not use chemicals to process there products therefore making it safe for the consumer I only by my products from Bob's Red Mill.

Wrong item
Walmart sent me a package of Red Mill Rye flour instead of Active Yeast. Dough does NOT rise as well!
