I have a time of forceing plain water down my throat.Koolaide type drinks taste artifical to me.Sweetned water inhansors the natural kind is ok,but its nouthing to be excited about but I mix it with peppermint or this or plain water with mint gives it something to distract me from the plain old water. It helps.
Good change up addition to "Chocolate No Bake Cookies" instead of always using vanilla flavoring. Also put in spay bottle with water and make a home-made air freshener, the spray also somewhat helps deter insects for awhile, as insects don't like mint. Good item to have in the pantry/cabinet.
McCormick's Mint Extract is an excellent product. I add a cap full to my morning protein drink to improve the flavor. The mint flavor is not too overpowering like the peppermint extract. This product has recently been difficult to locate in stores. I was glad to be able to buy some bottles through the Walmart App.
My favorite mint is spearmint, then comes chocolate mint, wintergreen and peppermint is my last choice. This is a mixture of spearmint and peppermint and it is spot on for a delectable mint flavor! And being single, I don't want to buy fresh because it can definitely go bad before I use it all. Sometimes it arrives bad, as well. This way I have some mint on hand for when I want it, whenever I want it. It's a good deal for me.
I used the McCormick Pure Mint Extract to make cinnamon rolls (cinnamons), and it added a fresh, cool mint flavor that paired nicely with the sweetness. A little goes a long way — the taste is strong, so I recommend using just a small amount. It gave my dessert a fun twist. Overall, I liked it and would use it again for baking.
During the fall and winter season, I love to bake all sorts of things. I actually have tried quite a few different types of mint extract, and this is my absolute favorite! It's super versatile and can be used in basically any recipe. I love adding this to brownies, they taste absolutely delicious! If you need a good mint extract, this is the one I would choose!
This extract baked with the most perfect the most delectable, the most minty fresh, chocolate mint cookies that had the whole block raving for more! Paired with mint lemonade made with the extract leaving a refreshing, cool, taste perfect for the Texas autumn heat!
I've been using the McCormick Mint Extract, and it adds such a fresh, clean flavor to my baking and drinks. A little goes a long way, and the taste comes through without being too strong or artificial. I especially like it in cookies and homemade iced coffee. It's a handy little bottle to keep in the kitchen.
Refreshing and Perfectly Balanced Mint Flavor! I love using McCormick Mint Extract for baking and drinks! The flavor is clean and refreshing not too sweet or artificial like some other brands. A few drops go a long way, whether I'm adding it to brownies, chocolate frosting, or homemade mint lemonade. It mixes in smoothly and gives everything that cool, minty kick. Definitely a staple in my pantry great quality and worth the price!
I ordered peppermint extract to substitute for mint is not the same. peppermint has a peppermint flavor mint has a spearmint flavor. I was Not at all excited about the replacement. I always opt out for substitutions.
